But Montmartre also represents a small nod to literature and art, like the sculpture of Jean Marais, which depicts a man protruding from a wall of the place Marcel Ayme, not far from the house where the author of Passe-muraille lived.

Finally, if you have the good idea of spending a few days at 18 Hotel in October, do not miss Montmartre which every second weekend of October celebrates the Hill’s vines and terroir, which produce the famous Clos Montmartre.

18 Hotel is also the ideal starting point to easily access the main sites and monuments of the capital. For a view ofParis by night, head to the fairytale spectacle that is the glittering Eiffel Towerwhen at night every hour 20,000 bulbs twinkle for 5 minutes, until one in the morning.
